Remember, these vouchers never expire – restaurant closes or leaves the program and your banked voucher is automatically converted into blank form to choose another selection. The fact that they’re nationwide doesn’t hurt, either!

Never pay $10 for these. Wait for the free “pay it forward” deal for $10 ones later this fall. Or wait for the next 90% off deal, buy a lot of the $25 deals for $1, wait for a few of the places you buy to go out of business, and then get a credit which you can use to buy ones that are hard to get later in the month when they give discounts.
I agree with all you say (and do it myself, which makes you doubly-clever!), but for someone who has never used these vouchers before, they should be buying one or two. One of those baby steps things you read about…
