yeah, yeah, we know it expires today – – well, that isn’t the topic of today’s lesson:  I’ve now heard from two readers who got shut out of using the code when they purchased a deal.

If you have a default payment method on your account and there is something wrong (maybe a card expired) or you choose another form of payment instead (switching to Paypal, for instance), you think you’re getting the 30% off because, after all, you entered CELEBRATE30 in the promo code box, right?  Well, no.  Turns out that once you go to the change payment method page, the codes are all wiped out and you should cancel the deal and start over.

This is something I didn’t know and if frankly, pisses me off because the discount only appears at the end.  So my advice would be to take the long road home and don’t set any default payment methods (I’m guilty of being lazy like this, too).

But yeah, don’t forget that this is the last day for this 30% off code – that’s a huge discount.
