Right now Target has the Monopoly Bonus Edition on sale for $14 (reg. $17.99).  This is the Target exclusive edition which contains all the old pieces plus the five proposed tokens in gold color. The iron is being replaced with the cat.

Seriously?  This smacks of HOARDER news to me.  If people were going nuts over a limited-life Twinkee, imagine how many of these games will be purchased for sales down the line.  If you want to buy one just for Old Time’s Sake, I’d suggest moving.  speaking of things disappearing from Target shelves, you might as well look for the Bounce while you’re there.
