Yeah, I know that Ultra has the Colgate Total 8.4 oz mouthwash on sale for $1.88 starting tomorrow, but you have to buy four to get that price. For most of us, four isn’t a problem! I checked online at Walmart to see how many of the nearest stores carry this size bottle (let’s face it, Walmart usually pushes those industrial-size ones) and found the spearmint and peppermint varieties at most locations.
Ultra requires you to buy four products to get that $1.88 price (Walmart’s policy is to match the lowest price, not require a set number of items to be purchased), but doesn’t put a limit on how many you can purchase! Ultra does have a twelve like coupon limit, whereas Walmart has no coupon limits at all. And their policy is to give you back the overage! Win, win, win!
Check out the coupons on the data base tab for any other items you might want – Palmolive is 98¢ when you buy four products and there’s a few 50¢ coupons for both the dish soap and 88¢ Speedstick deodorant that expired in August (Ultra policy is to take 30 day expired coupons). So if you want something that uses an expired coupon, head to Ultra. Otherwise, it’s Walmart. And since I seem to have accumulated quite a bit of Dawn premium dish soap over the past few days…
Be on the lookout for hang tags on the Colgate Total 8.4oz mouthwash for FREE after MIR.. I saw at least 30 or 40 bottles of these at Jewel the other day with those hang tags. Who knows if Walmart would have hang tags on these, but potential for a money maker beyond just the coupon overage..
