Although I spoke with people about this earlier, I didn’t post it because, frankly, it’s so limited in scope that I didn’t think to mention it. MUM convinced me that I should post, so here it is: There is a $10 Brita Pitcher Rebate that makes the pour-through pitcher on sale for $14.99 a money maker. How? Use the $4 coupon from 12/4 S to bring the cost down to $10.99. You get $5 ecbs, which brings your OOP to $5.99. But Wait!!! Submit the receipt to Brita for the $10 rebate and you’ve make $4.01. It’s only the pitcher that works for the rebate, so don’t buy the refills unless you really use them (gasp!).
Like I said, it’s so limited in scope that I didn’t see many of you picking up on it. Also, more and more banks are refusing to accept second party checks for deposit. So unless your Fluffy has her own bank account…

I just bought the last on at Emily’s cvs so place your order and get your raincheck! I was bummed that they don’t take expd ecbs but oh well! I do ask, what is the pledge to not throw out ecbs then? Honestly I’m not clear on that if they give short exp dates n more n more stored are not taking expd?? Que cera, cera!
When were you there and how expired were the ecbs? I’ve been there many times and seen them take slightly expired ones. The Beauty Club ecbs coming out of the Magic Coupon Machine are only two weeks, not the usual four.

I just called cvs on Naper road and Emily was not there so I spoke with John. He states that they don’t carry the 6 cup brita system but that he has an 8 cup therefore he would swap it out for me. I wanted to touch base with you first because although it is better to get the 8 instead of 6 cup, I had requested the 6 cup from Emily way back and I do not know if you got word about cvs no longer getting the 6 cup one in. I dont want to leave her with those brita systems (I requested 2) if I go a d get this 8 cup one. Let me know what you think. Don’t wanna mess up a good contact ya know! TIA
John is the store manager. I just left there and he confirmed that they don’t carry a 6 cup, so 8 would work. And as a side note, John prefers to substitute whenever possible so people aren’t out there holding rain check after rain check. Well, if the customers agree with the substitute, that is. Naperville is pretty relaxed about this stuff. That’s why we love them.
