Expectant parents Nick and Colby are looking forward to a normal, happy life with their newborn. But their expectations crumble when something turns out to be very wrong with their offspring, a one-eyed being that Colby refers to as a “smudge.” Laced with both horror and laughter, Smudge follows the couple as they struggle with the meaning of life and their capacity to love. Written by Emmy Award-winning playwright Rachel Axler (Parks and Recreation, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart), the show was a success Off-Broadway. The cast of Smudge features Ka-Tet company members Stevie Chaddock Lambert and Scott Allen Luke with Andrew Marchetti. Comp tickets are for June performance dates.
