Carol emailed me about a pretty darned good steak deal:

“Menards currently has No Name Steaks, 2 6oz steaks on sale for $6.99 with a $5 rebate on each pack, limit ten per person and/or address. While the steaks are small (in comparison to the Porterhouse steaks from Dominicks) they are very tender and take well to marinades. Its time to play freezer Tetris again!”

Now, to my pitiful math brain, this works out to be about $2.25/lb after rebate, as Jill would say, an excellent price for steaks!!!  Seriously, this is all trimmed steak and Carol has vouched for its tenderness.  Any complaints, I’ll post her full addy.

I would assume that these rebates are in the form of Menards money, so if you’re planning on doing any home remodeling, go for it.
