A pair of legendary Latin rock bands will share the stage as Los Lonely Boys and Los Lobos return to Ravinia Pavilion on a double-headliner bill. Los Lonely Boys (aka The Garza Brothers) — Henry, Ringo and Jojo — have won a Grammy Award for their hit single “Heaven,” sold more than 3 million albums in their career, and toured with the likes of The Rolling Stones and Los Lobos. The East-L.A.-bred Los Lobos are themselves three-time Grammy winners who play a rootsy and soulful brand of rock ‘n’ roll influenced by Tex-Mex, country, folk, R&B and traditional Mexican songs. Rolling Stone has named their 1984 release How Will the Wolf Survive? one of the 500 greatest albums of all time. Special guest Alejandro Escovedo will open the show.
