JC Penny ordering last day for codes! – Update

Just placed another order this morning:  the GIVEJOY code appears to have morphed into the R4ELVES, because it gave me the 20% discount instead of the $10 off.  Bummer!  Another bitch is that you go through the entire ordering process and when you get to check out you learn that the item(s) you selected that showed as available suddenly are not.  grrrr.  Well, at least the site is working much faster today – there’s lots of great deals in the clearance section; I found some great match-ups in bedding.

Rachel at MUM posted this last night, so decided to try the promo code to get $10 taken off any order (no minimum) GIVEJOY; there is another code for 20% off 4RELVES. From comments posted on her site, it appears that the codes may not work on toy items, but there’s certainly a whole slew of other stuff to choose from.

The site is extremely s  l  o  w.  It took me over an hour to complete the order; three times it timed out after ten minutes (their delay, not mine), constantly got the message that there was an error in processing my order, please try again in a few minutes.  But Capricorns don’t give up and I eventually got my daughter a great pair of clearance Vans for four bucks with store pick-up.

My advice?  Be patient with this.   A stress reliever would be to have multiple windows open so that you aren’t just sitting there getting frustrated.  You can watch the JCP window loading while you’re on another site, so just click back when the page has completed loading.   See?  Easy-peasy holiday shopping.  Good luck!
