Inserts storage

Since there’s an interest, here’s a quick peek at my storage center (it’s neat right now).  I have five totes:  bottom is for 50+ bundled inserts; bottom through top is in ascending chronological order.  Each tote has pendaflex folders, front section for ss and back for rp.  When the top tote gets too full, it’s time to transfer on down the line (not as time-consuming as it seems, since basically, the penultimate tote just gets tossed).  P&G and GM remain in the top tote.  A plastic basket on top for all the loose stuff (cats, tearpads, inserts to be filed, etc.) and that’s it!  Coupon booklets (like those from Doms and Jewel) are filed with AY in a plastic magazine holder, which sits on a shelf.

  1. well, that’s one way to do it i guess. sure don’t get more than 10inserts a week so dont need that much storage!!
I have 12 hanging file folders in stand-alone rails (meant to fit inside a file cabinet) but they are flimsy on their own, side by each, RP and SS, in the knee hole of my planning desk. They take up too much room and there’s no place for the separate 3 drawer unit for P&G and any other inserts. need to go vertical. prefer to have pull out drawers so don’t have to pull out/down a whole bin or the one that is in the middle of the stack. needed to think it thru better.
there’s a whole support (!) industry waiting to be created for us wannabe couponing divas!!
