Do I think this is a great deal?  No.  Does Groupon ever actually have anything interesting?  Sometimes.  Why am I posting about this then?  It’s actually a clever segue into a story about Pheasant Run.  Back in the dark ages, my parents would occasionally go for a week-end with another couple to Pheasant Run.  A place way out in the middle of nowhere (at least to Chicago suburbanites).  Pictures  (yes, they had cameras!) show North Avenue as a two lane road, no curbs, basic country style.  (The picture shown is from a photo databank.)  You squint and see maybe one or two cars off in the distance.  Now think about the last time you drove down North Avenue outside of the city…
