$12.50 for $25 worth of burgers, sandwiches and comfort food at Hamburger Jones in Elmhurst.  In a themed restaurant centered around a fictional world traveler, chefs craft 13 bulky specialty burgers made with 100% beef patties. The extensive menu’s specialty burgers include the Mexican Standoff, a 10-ounce beef patty topped with chorizo, Chihuahua cheese, jalapeño salsa, and guacamole ($12). Other sandwich options include a split, char-grilled brat crowned with grilled onions and cheddar ($10), and a po’ boy with spicy shrimp and jalapeño slaw ($10).  Limit one per person; additional one as gift.
