If Shakespeare were alive today, there’s a good chance he’d be writing works like The Verona Project. Hip, electric and full of great original indie-folk-rock music, this hybrid of theater and live concert is presented by the American Music Theatre Project. The Verona Project is inspired by Shakespeare’s comedy The Two Gentlemen of Verona, but transformed into an exciting new work by writer Amanda Dehnert. The show takes an honest look at surviving love and loss. Seen through the eyes of a group of young musicians, The Verona Project explores the journeys we all take and the people we eventually become.
