Drawing from three actual crimes, this new work from Collaboraction addresses Chicago’s history of violent crime and serves as a call to action for change in the city. An interactive production, Crime Scene: A Chicago Anthology features immersive staging, original music, audience participation and stylized dramatizations of three real-world attacks. Conceived and directed by Artist Director Anthony Moseley, the show is based on interviews and articles with the intention of raising critical questions about segregation, poverty, the media, popular culture and our increasing numbness to it all. A timely community outreach as well as an urgent, thought-provoking theater work, performances will include post-show discussions about the ongoing violent crime epidemic.
Free tickets are available for the Sunday, February 17th 7 pm performance; ticket prices start at $5 for other performances.
