Update: I almost forgot…but this should be the last weekend of inserts this year. While it’s possible they’ll throw us a curveball, most the 11th will be it. Having said that, I’d recommend stocking up on tomorrow’s paper because we should see an increase in the coupons. Kind of an end-of-the-year blowout.
Been reading on CW that many, many people are finding $10 coupons with no minimums for Fannie May in the Chicago Tribunes they picked up today.
Remember, this is the same exact weekend as last year, so go carefully through your papers. Last year’s coupon was attached to a single, hard sheet in the insert package. So far it seems to be very hit or miss with the papers purchased at stores – let’s hope the odds improve to 100% with the home-delivery papers (again, just like last year).

There may also be a $10 peelie for Carson’s with no minimum attached to the front page of the Chicago Tribune. I think the last time this showed up it had no minimum, but you couldn’t use it on any sale stuff – and everything under $15 was marked “sale.”
Bought two papers today. (remember you can pm menards at Walmart) my Carson’s coupon was a fold over not a peelie but on both papers. Also, it says $10 off $10 regular OR sale price.
I didn’t have the FM coupon but I have enough sweet tarts from wags to tide me over.

yeah, they actually give you examples of a bunch of things you can buy with the coupon. One thing I want to get is “John Bartlett large pet beds” that were regularly $40, now on sale for 12.99 and the ad states with the coupon will only be $2.99!
Also, you can get Muk Luk boots for only 9.99 after the coupon, women’s sweaters (originally $36 to 68) for only $4.99 after the coupon etc etc
Wow, oh wow! Let’s see, I get eight papers delivered, plus a few more I might scrounge up…I’ve got the two JCP cards with $10 off anything, no minimums and the 30% off Kohl’s and, hopefully, the Fannie May coupons. So everyone gets lots of “little” presents this year. The Ferrari is out, though.
I might just start buying lottery tickets ’cause my luck is definitely in!
The Orland Store was pretty empty this morning. I purchased quite an assortment of items and none of them were excluded. This promotion is NOTHING like the ones in the past that excluded just about everything in the store.
I received my FM in the Trib this a.m. I attempted to go on the website to use the $10 off + free shipping on cheap stuff and I couldn’t find anything close to the $10 mark that would allow the code. Anyone else try and have any luck?
You will never be able to use that stupid code online – they play games with the prices, you can’t use it on specially-marked candy, etc. Phooey on ’em. Much easier to use the card at a retail location. Let’s face it, there’s tons of them AND you have until Christmas Eve.
Well if anyone doesn’t want their in store coupon I can help take care of those. Just sayin.
I’m hoping to hit up Carson’s to get the baby sleepers for $1.99. My mom is coming with me tomorrow. Do you think they will give me a hard time using the baby as a customer? I’ll hand him the money.
