What I’ll do differently next year? Run the game first thing in the morning. Stop after 5 or 6 plays, log out and in to avoid getting kicked off and losing something good. Zip to pick a $$ deal after completing all lands – coupons go fast and if you stop to think (or take a screenshot), you’ll lose out on a big chunk of cash.
Pick luckier tokens, ’cause Cheese and Sushi seemed incapable of winning mini-games 🙂
By getting all 6 of the big coupons for completing the lands, plus getting lucky on a game ( $ 20 for matching the ice cream cones), plus the 6 rewards at the start, plus the free Pringles and sauce packets, I think
this game shelled out more than the old Monopoly game. (but there were 2 or 3 times where I matched the ice cream cones but still got screwed !)
I agree! Plus all the $5 floral coupons! I also matched the cones several times and it didn’t let me win!? We have been doubling up on the $1 deal coupons when they are on sale or have another manufacture coupon attaching. (I tried to buy 3 spice packets to test the 89c price but it makes you pay more!) If you buy 1 or 2 in a transaction, they will cost you 9c each. We still have a month left to redeem all of our coupons….this seems way better than previous years!
I bought a 4.99 plant and it did not use the $5 off floral. I kept my stuff at the self checkout, walked over to the floral dept. and explained. The nice lady made a special $0.99 for one flower for me (i think Hydrangea) that I was able to use in a vase. It actually worked out the way I figured, since the plant I wanted was marked 5.99 but rang up 4.99. She said why aren’t you happy getting it for a dollar less ? I explained, and she was really nice !
So far I have used my floral coupons on 1 single spray rose bunch, $5.99-$5=99c and 3 bunches in one order=$5×3=$15 – 3- $5 floral coupons = free (only tax!)
I also bought a plant 2 weeks ago for $5.99, like you attempted to do, and paid 99c with the coupon and last week got a plant for $5.99 and it also came up 99c with coupon. The 2nd plant is doing wonderful after I re-potted it but I killed the 1st one doing that after 2 days! I may get the mum plant featured in this weeks ad for $5.99 and plant in outside! I have a couple coupons left to use by 8-31!
I have more florals to use up……..They have 8″ mums – nice ones – 3 for $15. Got the 3 and paid $ 1.20 for tax. I got ones that are ready to bloom, so they’ll look nice. I have mixed results getting them to come up next year, but I’ll put them in the ground and hope for the best.
Thought about those – they looked nice – and STILL have ten $5 coupons to use 🙂
Oh! I have 4 coupons left and hubby has only 2. I didn’t know these mums were on sale yet. I’m seeing them in the coming up ad starting on Wed. Aug 23rd. In the ad it states “3 or more” to get them for 5 bucks each. Are they outside or inside in floral dept? Our store has no Fall mums outside yet.

My store just got in the Fall flowers outside this morning. My husband got 2 for 99c each and they are nice but it’s still too hot to have them. I went back to store a bit ago and they are already burning up! I watered mine really well and set them out in the shade. Yellow one had some starting to bloom and that was dry! The purple one still has all buds and it was wet (heavier). I’m waiting until it cools off to get mine…or for the next truck load!
