Discounted tickets are available for one performance only on December 8 for Moscow Ballet’s celebrated Great Russian Nutcracker at the Rosemont Theatre this holiday season. Production boasts unparalleled beauty, featuring 200 hand-embellished costumes designed by a Shakespearean expert and created in St. Petersburg’s oldest theatrical costume shop. Adding to the traditional holiday story, Moscow Ballet’s version includes a tribute to world peace, including solos by dancers representing an array of heritages, and a special “Dove of Peace” formation, in which two dancers become one bird with a 20-foot wingspan. This is your chance to see 40 amazing dancers perform Olympic-worthy leaps, lifts and pirouettes as they tell the heartwarming holiday tale of Masha meeting her prince.
