CVS today

I haven’t really seen what I consider great deals at CVS in a few weeks, so I haven’t been stocking up.  However,  two ecb’s were set to expire on the 21st, and I decided to work a couple of deals to use them up.  Notice I didn’t say I wanted to actually spend cash.

This picture combines two transactions, almost identical: total of 4 Right Guards, 2 Dry Idea, 2 Edge gels, 1 Schick Hydro gel and 1 Emerald pecan (Jeez, now where did that come from?).  Used 2 Right Guard $3/2 and Edge BOGO coupons (limit 2 per computer), one Emerald $1/1 coupon from 8/15 RP, $1/1 Schick Hydro gel from 8/08 SS, 2 $1/1 Dry Idea coupons.  I paid for each transactions with the $7.99 expiring ecbs and had an actual OOP of $1.51 and $1.78.  I received $6 (Right Guard) and $1.80 (Edge and Hydro) for each transaction.  I spent $3.29 OOP, used $15.98 in ecbs and got back $15.60 in ecbs.  Not too bad, I guess.

  1. Nice! Love that! Guess what? Best Life buttery spread 15 oz is .99 on pricecut at Meijer. I had no idea that the $1 coupon from 2 or 3 weeks ago’s Sunday paper (you know the one that had the mega P & G insert with the travel tides you bought. It’s not in the P & G insert, but its from that Sunday paper) would come in that handy. Bought 16 for .99, used $1 cpns, so all of em free. And I am sure you have tons of that coupon. Just want to tell you to keep up the great work on your blog- I am a huge fan!! Also, if you want a pack of Johnsonville brats for .95, print off the cpn on page 4 of the tailgating flyer here: http://meijer.shoplocal.com/meijer/default.aspx?action=entryflash&storeref=231 and stack that with the .55 off Johnsonville here-> http://smartsource.com/smartsource/index.jsp?Link=5S2ZUA6PWPEPO . Buy 1 brat pk at a time. I bought a crap load of them. I used my scrubbing bubbles catalinas to pick them up free. I love FREEEEEE! Like I said, I’m stocking up my freezer.

  2. Oh hey one more thing. Those turkey bacons are on sale for .99 again at Butera. Also, Tony’s supermarket in Bridgeview has Wisk on sale for $1 (after the $3 off cpn). I was so mad when I discovered at checkout that I cut off the expiration date on all 14 except 1 coupon. So they would not take them. Anyway, its on sale thru Wed or Thurs this week. So like what u said about rainchecks…
