Yes, it’s true ’cause I just read it in the Trib: Costco is the latest major retailer to launch a bridal collection. Costco says it’s making the all-important dress selection process more convenient, casual and affordable. Frankly, even their $700 “discount” dress seems nuts to me, but it you’re planning to spend thousands on a dress that you’ll wear for a few hours, pay to have professionally cleaned and stored for your unborn daughter to refuse to wear in 20 years, then I say go for it…
I’ll take Caribbean cruise for $1000, Alex.
well, its almost like the senior prom dress for DD last year…used points to get cash, put the dress on the credit card to earn more points then paid off the bill with their cash!!
and yeah, she wore it for all of 12 hours, looked like a princess, had the most amazing time and that’s it! was it worth it to me? absolutely. the foreign exchange students still Facebook her and talk about that dress and the party that night…her current college roomie didn’t have a prom (they don’t do that there) and was in awe of the dress and the party pics.
I didn’t have a prom either and that I could do this for her in this economy?? memories to last a lifetime. for both of us.
she’s offered the dress to some younger friends of hers for their prom. good job honey.
