One of Neil Simon’s most memorable plays, I Ought to Be in Pictures concerns struggling Los Angeles screenwriter Herbert Tucker who abandoned his family in New York 16 years earlier. His adventurous daughter Libby arrives on his doorstep convinced that he can help jump-start her film career. After dispensing guilt and demanding love, Libby convinces Herb to take another stab at parenting, accept his responsibilities and come to terms with his on-again/off-again relationship with girlfriend Steffy. This production is directed by veteran Hollywood film and television actor Robert Costanzo (Friends, NCIS, NYPD Blue).  Get comp ticket through Goldstar for the April 3rd and 4th 7:30 performances at ($7 service fee); they also have $5 tickets with a $5 service fee if the freebies sell out.
