I run a LOT of pages through my laser printer, so I was prepared to replace my ComboInk cartridge sooner than I had with HP ones…not so! About two weeks ago the print started getting faint in a row down the page. Took out the cartridge, gave it a few good shakes and threats and it’s worked fine until this afternoon, when I started getting the faint rows again. Took it out and shook it – great print once more. Honestly, I know I’m on borrowed time here, so I pulled out my spare ComboInk cartridge for when I can’t squeeze any more powder out of this first one.
But six month’s worth of printing (with no quality issues) for slightly over $20 shipped!? Works for me every time. Use promo code SCARYINK for 15% off your purchase.
Thanks for recommending this site. I ordered from this site reading it about…. 4-5 months back?
Mine FINALLY started to have the “Streaks” you’re talking about, and I’ve been doing the same “shake” method but to no avail- the streak keeps coming back.
It was a good run; I printed about 700 sheets of crap for school, not including coupons! 🙂
