Chekov and Sulu reteam for a Windy City mission as George Takei and Walter Koenig check in to Creation Entertainment’s latest Star Trek con, the final event before the big 50th anniversary celebration in 2016. You’ll want to connect with other Trekkies mourning the passing of the legendary Leonard Nimoy at the Saturday salute, and enjoy expo activities like the cosplay parade and vendor room at Rosemont’s Westin O’Hare Hotel throughout the three-day fest. Everyone who attends is guaranteed a seat in the main hall, where you can catch a variety of panels and appearances by Trek crew members like Karl Urban, who plays Bones in the new series of movie reboots, as well as favorites like Colm Meaney, Terry Farrell, John Billingsley, Robert Picardo, Armin Shimerman, Tim Russ, Denise Crosby and many more.
