Zaycon Chicago Chicken Event February 1

The Zaycon Chicken Event will be held on February 1st at most locations around Chicagoland.  If you haven’t even registered, get on the stick! You won’t be bombarded by emails from them.   And if you’ve never tried their products before, you’ll be amazed at the freshness.  And relieved that your chicken doesn’t come with a Chinese passport…

The boneless, skinless chicken breasts are available now for delivery in February for $1.89 lb. (40 pound boxes).  If you know anything about the Zaycon Chicken Event…at that price, they’ll be gone soon and the next Chicken Event after that takes place in June.

If you compare Zaycon chicken to any grocery store chicken –  you can’t.  The difference is that great.  I’d be willing to pay more for fresh chicken but with Zaycon I pay less!

unnamedI miss my second freezer and refrigerator (even FirstBorn commented that we needed another freezer when trying to shoehorn in more frozen Dominicks “stuff.”  The latest Zaycon email says supplies are dwindling for the February 2014 Chicken Event – next one will be June.  And if you’ve never tried their products before, you’ll be amazed at the freshness.  And relieved that your chicken doesn’t come via a China layover…

Their Applewood Smoked Ham and 93/7 Ground Beef are touring the country at $3.49lb with limited supplies of Holiday Ground Beef Logs… there’s nothing holiday-ish about ground beef but oh my, such yummy holiday nachos!

rotate_6If you compare Zaycon chicken with any grocery store chicken in the world, you will see and taste the difference! It really does come straight from the farm to your table!

 Zaycon chicken breast is:

• 100 % natural chicken with no added hormones, additives or artificial ingredients
• Comes directly from the processor and has never been frozen
• Sold by the case — 40 lbs in each case

Everyone says that this is the best-tasting chicken they’ve ever eaten – we agree. These breasts are juicy, tender and HUGE. Too much for your family? Split a box with family, friends and/or neighbors – lots of people do it that way.  We ended up doing just that when DH shot off his big fat mouth  mentioned to a friend that this chicken was incredible.  so Goddess only got 20 pounds to last until spring...not that i’m bitter or anything…

Illinois pick up locations are all over the state – Bolingbrook to Naperville and Elk Grove Village to Springfield. They hold events nationwide, with other states offering eggs, honey and milk.  Pull up with your email confirmation in hand and they load your box right into the trunk. Contents are sealed in heavy duty plastic inside a thick, waxed cardboard box.

To see any of the locations, products and dates, you have to be registered.   Don’t worry, Zaycon won’t bombard you with emails.  So if you like big breasts, don’t wait.

Reminder email from Zaycon that there’s not much time or quantity left on their Ground Beef event.   Zaycon sold out their November Ground Beef event, but arranged an “overlap” sale where they will bring more Ground Beef along to the boneless, applewood-smoked ham December Event.  Normally you’d have to wait until next Summer.

Zaycon ground beef is:

  • LFTB Free (no pink slime)
  • The beef cattle have a grass diet supplemented by grain after they reach approximately 700 pounds.
  • There are no hormones or antibiotics in the beef: 100% grown in the USA.
  • There are no chemicals, additives or water added to meat during processing.
  • Processed at a USDA-inspected, state-of-the-art plant employing strict operating protocols (including HACCP) and the highest in food-safety standards
  • Prior to processing, inspectors from the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service randomly sample cattle under a monitoring plan and perform testing for antibiotic residues.
  • USDA nutrition labeling standards defines “extra lean” and “lean” ground beef based on the lean/fat ratio. While not part of these guidelines, the term “super lean” is often used in the grocery sector to describe ground beef at the upper end of the “lean” category (i.e., “ Zaycon Foods 93/7 Super Lean Ground Beef”). This ground beef product is 93% lean and 7% fat
  • Comes in a 40-lb case with four 10-lb chubs per case

The Zaycon 93/7 Super Lean Ground Beef Sale is now on, but will only be open for another two weeks – they won’t be back until Summer (last year’s Event was in July).  Looks like most of the Chicago-area dates are early November with other Illinois locations occurring in the second and third weeks.
