Stopped in my local Walgreens to use two expiring Register Rewards – PITA found a lot of hidden hair colors marked down to $1.39!  Naturally I took them all, because I’m still an extreme couponer at heart 🙂  Three Crest/Scope mouthwashes were $5 each before digital coupons and rewards and the L’Oreal was BOGO 50% off less a mfr & Walgreens digital coupon.

I was really hoping my hair color generosity would be rewarded with an APP rebate, but nope.  There are Ibotta rebates out there, but not for Walgreens purchases, so I made do with the standard Fetch Rewards rebate. Walking around I saw a ton of clearance deals on deodorant, razors and more; these were not the usual clearance shelf tags, but plain white ones.

Got an email from Walgreens with a 15% code … when you apply it doesn’t work on anything I’d ever purchase. What a shocker!

I had read about a $5 Reward for purchases of $1 or more under coupons; turns out I got one, so decided to stop over.  Crest Pro-Health Gum Detoxify toothpastes are on clearance, either $4.99 or $5.49, depending on variety, plus they give a $5 RR when you buy two, so into the cart they went (also had $5/2 digital coupon).  I actually wanted the Colgate products, each of which had $2 digital coupons; $3 RR for two.

Subtotal was $6.98 after $9 in coupons; used $5 in Rewards and paid $3.10.  Received the $8 in Register Rewards, which I’ll have to remember to use at some point in the next two weeks.  Gosh, I don’t think I’ve been at Walgreens since Christmas!

For those of you wondering how long Walgreens will hold those Free photos, it’s obviously forever.  This is the order I picked up August 19th; when I kept getting emails I stopped in and was told there was no order waiting and nothing showed in the computer system.  Nothing.  So maybe Walgreens has photos from last year’s graduation still waiting for you – never hurts to check!
