Free ten 4×6 prints @ Walgreens!

Get ten 4×6 prints (currently on sale for $2.90) – use promo code TEN4X6FREE at checkout and choose store pickup and pay the usual zero! Shame there’s nothing that interests me in this week’s ad.  Promo ends 8/22.

Now do I choose the cartoon Chris or the photo Chris…or is there even a difference? These were from last month’s blogging conferences.  I chose photo Chris – Rachel was kind enough to Photoshop out the green skin and pointy hat.

Free gum @ Wags – no coupons needed!

UntitledThis week Walgreens has PÜR gum on sale 2/$2 – Snap (Groupon) has a $2/2 no limit offer on their APP.  Use RRs, cash or points and pay tax!  If you have lots of points you want to convert to cash, buy at least 20, since $20 is the Snap payout threshold. This Walgreens only had 18, so I’ll hit up another store for two more packs – you can do multiple receipts. But don’t put off adding and then redeeming because until you shoot them the receipt it could disappear.

Cheap(er) Bayer at Walgreens

photo.JPGIf you’ve already run out of your 27 year supply from the last deal at Target/Walmart/Osco/Ultra on low-dose Bayer aspirin, Walgreens has all varieties for B1G1 50% off.  There is a $1 mfr coupon in 6/21 S and a $1 store coupon in their Pain Management Answers booklet found in the pain aisle or by the pharmacy in most locations.  You don’t need to remove the store coupon from the book – the cashier just scans and the $1 comes off all products in the order.  The catch, however (remember, this is Walgreens), is that there is such a wide variety in pricing that you might be better off shopping Walmart, where their everyday price is about $2.50, or $1.50 after coupon.

Here in the land where homes aren’t secured by chains, these were $3.59 each.  Buying the six, using both coupons, set me back $4.14 plus low tax.  ouch…now i really need the pain meds.

Crest and Head & Shoulders @ Walgreens

photo.JPGIt’s much easier to hit up a bunch of Walgreens than drive to Targets – especially if I’m not sure they’ll have stock and double especially with their Limit 4 Like coupons policy.  And sometimes you spend a bit more to save time and gas.

It’s nice to see a Crest deal after so much Colgate!  Buy three Crest for $9, use the $3/3 coupon from the July P&G and 5,000 points, pay under $2 and get a $3 RR.  Run it a couple of times, then grab four Head & Shoulders at 2/$10, use the $5/2 coupons from the July P&G plus two $3 RRs from the earlier Crest deal.  The H&S coupon attaches to only one bottle, leaving the other free for the RR to attach to.  You’ll pay tax on $4 and get 5,000 points for the purchase of four.

Each transaction involves 5,000 points (you’ll run into negative with the 2nd Crest transaction, but you have to break some eggs…) back and forth.  I’ll play around with the possibilities later on, but this is pretty decent.  I spent $8.75 for the items in the picture:  4 H&S and 6 Crest Pro-Health.

cheap razors build points @ Wags

photo.JPGIf you’re trying to build up points at Walgreens, doing a BIC disposable razor transaction can help. Take advantage of the B1G1 50% off promo stacked with the 3,000 points wyb $15 worth of various products.  I used the $2 coupons from 6/7 to reduce my OOP… considerably.

Target shopping for MM shampoo + gum!

photo.JPGCurrent Target promotion gives you a $5 gift card when you buy four Suave products (also Dove, etc., but the Suave is the best).  These Gold Professional shampoos and conditioners are $2.54, so buy four, use two $3/2 coupons from 6/21rp and you’ll be paying $4.16 plus high tax for each set of four and getting back a $5 gift card (I paid $4.94 in total).  Use your REDcard and it’s 5% less.

Trident gum is 97¢ shelf price.  Stack the 50% off on Cartwheel with the $1/3 coupon from 6/28S and your gum is now 15¢ a pack!  If you don’t want to bother with Cartwheel and/or the Target coupon limit, Walgreens has Trident for 3/$2, use the $1 coupon and you’ll pay 33¢ a pack, still pretty cheap.

update: cheap Tone body wash @ Walgreens

Do not allow cashier to ring these as a quantity – ring each bottle individually – because the registers and coupons don’t play nice. You will get everything from the coupon scanning for $2.99(?!) to Item Not Found. …you’re welcome.
photo.JPGYeah, I’m shocked to be at Walgreens this week, too!  Actually any week, right?  However, there is a wonderful B2G1 coupon in the 6/14rp on Tone body wash that can easily be combined with the BOGO Tone offer in this week’s ad.  Depending on shelf price, you can either pay for one and get five free or slightly more – coupon value only goes up to $4.49.  My Wags priced these at $5.29, so ended up spending about $1.14 for each, but I paid most of that excess with points.  Figured there had to be a use for them someday!

I bought 6 and used 2 coupons, but you could run in sets of 12 with four coupons – coupon states Limit 4.

new Walgreens happy skin coupons

photo.JPGHere’s a nice new book of coupons at Walgreens called Happy Skin Headquarters – hey, I just report ’em, I don’t make them up!  Dates are into early July. Make sure you grab a few of these because the coupons are printed back-to-back.  Values are good when combined with a mfr coupon…and a Register Reward deal.

Free or almost free shave gel @ Walgreens

photo.JPGThe free part depends on just where you hitch your trailer…here in the high rent district Gillette Fusion is $5.49 and $5.99 – other places have it for $4.99.  Use the $3 Wags coupon from 5/3 rp and the $2 mfr coupon from the May P&G.  I have quite a few of the $2.50 RRs from the Irish Spring deal, so have been using those to plug the gap (along with a few Kit Kats).

You only have to use one Walgreens coupon for your transaction – the $3 will come off each can.
