Wags: more TRESemme & Crest shopping

Even though both these deals are in the Walgreens ad, I was unable to get Crest to work, although we were able to do a work-around (my store is great), but if you go into a store for a deal, you shouldn’t have to wait for the whole Walgreens dog and pony show to finish before it happens.

Clip the $4/2 TRESemme coupon; buy two for $10, pay with Wags Cash and get a $4 Register Reward; even though the online checkout says you’re earned $4+ in Wags Cash on this transaction, you haven’t.  You can only run this deal in person.

Clip any and all of the Crest coupons to your account; buying 2 is supposed to generate a $4 Register Reward.  I bought 3 to use the $6.50/3 coupon and paid with the $4 RR from the TRESemme transaction.  No RR.  Since TRESemme is Unilever & Crest is P&G, using one should have had any bearing on the other.  When I tried this without paying with RR, it still didn’t generate the Crest one. Actually, it took a couple of us hunting through the APP ad before we could even find the Weekly Deals category.

Scanned Fetch Rewards when we got back and earned 100 points on the two Tresemme, a nice surprise.  Had about 60k that I turned into Amazon gift cards at Christmas; now I’m back up to 28k.  Fetch Rewards, the APP that doesn’t care where you shop – even online!

Itchy eyes & dirty teeth?

This deal is only available with in-store transactions because you are paid in Register Rewards, not Wags Cash; you can pay with Wags Cash or even split up the transactions to use the RR from one transaction to pay down another.  This “receipt” is only to show price details.  There are also $4 & $8/2 coupons in the 4/24 SmartSource (insert with Jergens on the cover)

If allergy season is getting you down, this week at Walgreens you can take advantage of a BOGO 50% sale plus $8/2 manufacturer and $5 IVC store coupons on B&L Alaway eye drops – bring the cost down from $14.99 each to $2.24!  There’s also a deal for both Colgate and Crest toothpaste: buy 3 Crest for $9, with a $6 coupon and get $5 back, while the Colgate deal makes you buy only two with a $2 coupon and earn $4.  I prefer free, but what can you do.

Get 25 points for every transaction from Fetch Rewards, the App that doesn’t care where you shop!  The Colgate transaction actually gave me 59 points.

YumEarth products half price shipped

Walgreens has a clearance on YumEarth products meant for the Easter market, but what do you care if you can get them for half price?  Not sold in stores and if you ship to your house you’d better be buying a crapton of stuff, but it shows available for Free Ship to Store.

$1.99 poster print at Walgreens

Total will be $11.99 before code and $1.99 after.  Choose the highest possible resolution. Code not valid on APP.  Can’t see when code expires 🙁

Once again: Free Walgreens body care

More freebies, because if Walgreens wants to hand them out (or make us pay pennies), why wouldn’t we let them :).

2 Colgate toothpaste – clip $4/2 coupon

2 Dove hand soap or sanitizer BOGO 50% off – clip $7/2 coupon

2 Shea Moisture bar soap BOGO 50% off – clip $6/2 coupon.

Total will be $4.74 before tax; I received $4.17+ in Walgreens Cash from Colgate. You can pay with rewards and still earn them.

Fetch Rewards, the APP that doesn’t care where you shop, was also being generous with points – 217 (79 Colgate, and the rest a Unilever bonus)!

Pop for Passover or just cheap soda

Broke this down into three transactions to maximize the value of Register Rewards and Walgreens Cash:

  1. 3 Mountain Dew 12 pks for $9.99.  Used a $5 RR and $5 in Cash Rewards.  OOP 69¢
  2. 3 Crest Scope mouthwash (I would have paid the extra buck for the larger size, but only one on the shelf). $4 digital coupon for $9 subtotal. Paid with $5 Cash Rewards and my hot Discover card 🙂  Received $5 RRR.
  3. 3 Dr. Pepper 12 pks for $10.99.  Used $5 RR and $5 Wags Cash.  OOP 69¢

Walgreens 11×14 poster print returns

Total will be $11.99 before code and $1.99 after.  Choose the highest possible resolution. Code not valid on APP.  Also can’t see when code expires 🙁

cheap dandruff shampoo & Crest

Don’t have dandruff, but heck, for a buck I’ll use it as a clarifying shampoo.  Add the various Crest digital coupons to your account, buy 3 toothpastes and get a $5 Register Reward.  Since the coupon is $5/3 and there’s a $5 coupon for the RE-fresh shampoos (on sale for $5.99), you can do like I did and shave that $6.04 total down with $5 in Cash Rewards to leave you with an OOP of $1.04 after RR.

Our library loans out Rokus, preloaded with about a thousand movies, plus access to Disney+, ESPN+, ACORN TV, Hulu, Netflix, Vudu, Amazon Prime and the latest addition … britbox.  Check your local library and if they don’t offer Rokus, demand that they do 🙂

buck & a quarter shopping trip

Lots of interesting things at Dollar Tree today!  Pita loves Annie’s products, so even with short dates, this Cowgirl Ranch salad dressing it was a sweet find for her; I thought the Avocado sauce looked yummy (with good ingredients, to boot!).  Soapbox hand soap was a restock from last month; Walgreens has it for $4.49. Walgreens also carries their body wash for $6.99 & $7.99 with a $12/2 coupon to clip now that will be valid starting Sunday.  Walgreens also has a ton of high-value coupons for No 7 – seen these drastically reduced in the past, so I’ve clipped them all just in case 🙂

when you don’t hit shipping thresholds

Placed a Walgreens order combining store pickup and shipping to store to avoid any of their absurd fees.  The BOGO vitamin sale with two sets of coupons meant I needed six bottles of a size they don’t stock in stores, so placed it for ship to store.  Total after $5 in coupons was $9.99, so I needed something else or I’d only be able to use $5 in Rewards Cash.  My Post cereal variety was OOS for shipping, but one local store had stock, so I combined pick up and ship to store, to pay out $1.71 with a barely warm credit card 🙂

Ship to store only takes 1-2 days, so I’ll wait to pick up both orders at the same time.
