ALL YOU RIP

Although it had been buzzing about the blogophere for a few days, I received an official email from the ALL YOU publisher today:

We regret to announce that the ALL YOU magazine is ceasing distribution and all offers are invalid effective immediately.

Frankly, I’m not surprised and haven’t posted any but the cheapest deals from them in some time; over the years they offered fewer and fewer high value coupons – in fact, last time I looked, they didn’t have coupons at all! In the beginning – whoa baby, there were very high value coupons indeed you wouldn’t find in inserts or as printables.

Further information will be posted in emails as received, but I do know they plan to switch subscriptions to other magaines in their group (like Time).

Free Purina Dog Treats @ PetSmart!

UntitledNew $4 Purina Pro Plan dog snacks, any variety, valid at Pet Specialty Retailers Only.  Which is fine, since I don’t think grocery stores carry the Pro Plan line anyway!  Take your coupons over to PetSmart, where the Training Treats are only $3.99.  Lots of other choices for cats, although that’s not what the coupon reads.  PetSuppliesPlus doesn’t carry this line for dogs and only the large bags show up on the Petco site.

This is currently a money-maker at PetSmart, since it’s selling for $3.50; I picked up some clearance stuff and was still a few cents short…so I bought a cricket!  You know, the pay-it-forward approach.

Fresh Thyme shopping – Naperville grand opening

unnamedIf it’s free or cheap and even remotely healthy, I’m on it.  And I get to define healthy, okay? Total OOP (including tax and subtracting Snap) was $22.  Hate spending $$.

Grab some cheap Kettle brand chips with this $1/2 Kettle coupon.  Right now they’re on sale for 2/$3, so only a buck a bag! And there’s an $1/2 unlimited Groupon SNAP you can use to get them even cheaper!  Good selection, too. Testers were handing out $1 coupons yesterday, so missed the boat on that deal.

Organicgirl is on sale 2/$5, so use this $1 on any organicgirl product and it counteracts the chips effect!  btw, the organicgirl coupon is a pdf – you just vote and comment about which of their newest mixtures you prefer (even if you haven’t tried them).  Coupon expires 11/01/15.

Lots of 88¢ apples (I took Fugi), the gallon of water was free, I paid $2.49 for the baguette.  Two bags of 5lb russet potatoes were $3.

I obviously have a love affair with potatoes and Red Rose or Yukon Gold or Russet baking potatoes are only 3 lbs for a buck!  Back up the truck or can I arrange home delivery…
