DH and PITA wanted to go the mall route today, so I tagged along since I was more then likely going to be fed. Stopped at Target after (well, I went in…DH and Pita stayed in the car) for the 2L pop sale. Unfortunately, the store was fiendishly crowded, so while I realized the bottles were ringing up at $1.25 each instead of $1, I’d already gotten a couple of “What are you doing in there” texts, and decided to return later in the week for my overpayment refund. Note that I also picked up some Canada Dry since the $1/2 and 55¢ printables expire today.
DH claimed I was in there one hour…proved he was wrong with a time-stamped mall receipt. Then Pita ratted him out by saying he’d been sleeping all along…

Everything I wanted was either not in stock or not available at this store…sigh…so I made do with what I could. Had two BOGO Playtex printables left so I grabbed four boxes and noticed Maybelline Baby Lips on clearance for $2.08. Used the $1 Maybelline pdf. Unfortunately there’s no gift card promotion, but I figure a buck is an okay price, especially since the Playtex coupons scanned for $7.99. Paid $5.08 and got a $5 gift card for the Playtex.

Nice how the Target coupon gives you a $10 gift card when you stock up on $40 worth of beauty and personal care items. Use it on the $5 Playtex deal, which runs through 5/23. And if you’re anywhere near a Meijer store, use this $3 Walgreens coupon with the $3 Gillete mfr coupon in the P&G for some very cheap razors (Meijer accepts competitor coupons). Nice how it’s got such a long date!
Put them all together and what do you have? The online price for 16.5 pounds of Purina ONE is $20.49 (your store may be higher); $41 less $10 and $2 mfr and Target coupons brings you to $29 less the $5 gift card, or $24 for both bags (almost the price of one, huh?)
