This stuff was $2.82 at Walmart before the last price match! You can also price match at Target, but it’s more of a hassle (for me), since I can just run this through the cashier at Walmart. So many non-sales this week that I only bothered with Target on the off-chance I’d find something left in the Christmas clearance section! Yeah, boxes of Archway cookies for $3…with dates up in the next couple of weeks – pass! Then I found a couple of cans of Febreze on the regular shelf with the $2.99 ones. Since these were clearanced at other stores, I scanned and BAM! 29¢ each! Used the $1.50/2 from the January P&G to bring down the rest of the items…okay, the only thing that I had that wasn’t a freebie was a pack of napkins and even that was on 5% Cartwheel. But I had to pay for the gas to drive there.

LEGO Ideas Exo Suit 21109 is 30% off at both Amazon and selling for $24.99. Use REDcard and it’s 5% less at Target plus you get free shipping. From what I’ve read, this was one of the limited sets that was supposed to end last year but was extremely popular so they extended the date. Think this is now a clearing out inventory sale ’cause they’re not making more.

Both the cheese and Ritz crackers are on 50% Cartwheel. Used the .75/2 Nabisco crackers coupon from 12/6 S. Remember, Cartwheel is limit four per transaction; six transactions per day. Cheese was in the same aisle as the crackers. Grocery guy insisted they didn’t carry it and he knew the entire grocery department. I ignored him and went looking for him but I think he’d already joined the witness protection program. Otherwise he would have seen New Year’s Day early…real early.
Easy Cheese is American or Cheddar; Ritz crackers are all varieties (I found cream cheese, cheese and peanut butter ones). After REDcard the cans were $1.94 each; Ritz crackers were a buck a box.
Total spent was $20 after Glade coupons from 10/25 S and $15/$50 Target coupon from current ad. Submitted receipt to Checkout51 for $10 rebate and got almost immediate approval. Had I picked up a wider assortment, I would have gotten a larger rebate, but I didn’t want or need the other items. So I’m out $10 for lots of good stinky stuff.
