Yearbookarchives – missing your yearbook?

Yearbooks Now this is a great idea:  Yearbookarchives.com, part of ClassMates.com, has yearbooks covering more than 30 million people. “Find friends, family, even your favorite celebs.”

I thought this would be a fantastic gift idea for someone who lost a yearbook in a fire or flood or in one of many moves – never thought about buying a yearbook for any celebrities.  did Kim Kardashian even graduate?  oh, wait, they said celebrity…never mind.

Chuck E. Cheese birthday booking with bonus tokens

I’ve posted Chuck E. Cheese deals before, but can’t be sure how good a deal this is:  FirstBorn was always afraid of The Rat (I’m not scared, he just creeps me out), while PITA climbed up on the stage when no one was watching and started grabbing at the machines – I think she was about 4 or 5).

Book a Chuck E. Cheese Birthday Party online and get 20 Free Tokens! Get 100 Bonus tokens at a reserved Birthday party Friday or Sunday.  This place was always a hit with kids – adults just sat there in a stupor.  I think kids suck the life force out of you…

sneakpeeq – FREE silk scarf today for new members

New sneakpeeq members can get a free silk scarf and FREE shipping with their first order.  Choose from 2 designs: a romantic bed of roses or shimmering blue waves.  You must be registered to see any of these sneakpeeq deals/.

Rockport shoes

Rockport ShoesAnother email offering discounts, this one is for Rockport shoes.  The Rockport site says free shipping on all orders and signing up for their emails gets you 20% off your first order.  Nowhere on the site does it say “up to 20%” – the only thing I read is that it’s only available to new subscribers.  Naturally I checked out the sale section, which is offering some 25% off already, so a chance to get a great deal on some very well-regarded footwear.

IpIpsos i-Say Panel – Moms

Ipsos I-Say Panel - MomsHere’s the blub:

Join the Ipsos i-Say Panel and Enter to Win $5,000. We need some mother’s intuition! Win $5,000 for joining the Ipsos i-Say Panel. Plus, each time you complete a survey, you have a chance to win cash. Share your views, influence decision-makers, and win CASH; it’s that easy!

Note:  This is a site I haven’t joined, so can’t tell you about my experiences.  It’s been around for quite some time and I’ve never heard anything bad about them, so go for it.  These sites (if you are accepted) will each pay you a small amount per survey – it’s when you add up all the little dribbles and dabs that you realize you’re making a part-time income while at home/work.

Two survey sites open

NPD Research PanelNPD Research Panel Join and win cash or prizes for giving your opinions.  This is a survey/opinion site I can wholeheartedly recommend because I’ve been a part of it for years.  There are three sites that consistently send surveys that are either interesting or short – either or, I don’t care.  With NPD you earn points which add up fairly quickly and which you can use to buy (well, I buy, anyway) gift cards.  I don’t know how picky they are (some are notorious for only opening for certain demographics), but it’s not like you’re doing anything important right now, right?

The other survey site is Opinion Outpost and I admit I know nothing about this one.  If Opinion Outpost anyone has feedback, please comment and let us know.  Site says they pay cash…and cash works for me…

Fandor – stream indie & intl films w/ free week trial

FandorSays “Watch independent and international films instantly! Start watching today for free!”  Fandor gives you a seven-day trial to check them out – I don’t know the rate after that trial period ends, but if you like indie films and Netflix isn’t doing it for you, check ’em out.  Don’t like the selection/quality/price, dump them.

ClipNGo Coupons – Rachael Ray – update

ClipNGo Coupons - Rachael RayRhonda says there is a $9.95 fee for this!  Whoa, either you can’t find coupons on your own or you are a huge RR fan.  Personally, I’d pass, but everyone is different.

Yeah, like she uses a lot of coupons!  Anyway, I wasn’t going to post this coupon (and shopping spree at RR’s online site) through clipngocoupons.com because you have to fill out a short questionnaire and agree to get more emails, but you can unsubscribe at any time, so it might be worth it.  Anyone tries this, let us know what coupons and amounts you get and if they’re really worth $75.

Vistaprint – Snow Day Five – car magnet puzzles

Vistaprint - Snow Day IdeasI must say that these ideas are extremely clever; I would certainly never have thought of them myself!  For Vistaprint’s Snow Day Five they have magnets specifically to be used as kids puzzles. Upload a favorite photo to make your own customized puzzle. Cut it up into fun shapes and have your little ones put it together on the fridge! You could also upload a page of words or letters to make your own magnetic poetry or spelling magnets.  That’s $4.99 for a small magnet (11.25″ x 8.5″) or $9.99 for a large one (17.3″ x 11.25″), which includes FREE shipping.
