PITA and I just stopped at Jewel (after our library fun trip) for some sugar, when she squealed the clearance cart was out!  Yes, our lives are pretty meaningless right about now :). Lots of great stuff for 75% off  like Mrs. Meyers dryer sheets for FirstBorn, but I’m particularly pleased with the lentils for a dime a bag, since the dates are through 2022 and we like lentils.  and we’re gonna like them even more …

Lots more tea on the clearance cart this evening!  Plain black Tetley is a great stockpile item, especially at $1.12 a box, so I grabbed four; walnuts and slivered almonds will come in handy during the next baking frenzy and with dates in mid-2022, definitely a great deal at 75% off.  Also saw bars of Godiva baking chocolate among the baking items.

They were stocking cans of Starbucks Nitro (various flavors) by the front desk for tomorrow’s Saturday Sampler.

Been using up tons of stockpile Celestial Seasonings herbals for our sun tea, but black tea is much more to my liking – especially when it’s $1.24 for Zest tea and there’s a $3 Ibotta rebate (limit 5) and many of the Celestial Seasonings had 55¢ peelies!  I spent $31.25 (saved $107!) and earned $15 from Ibotta.

This week at Jewel, you can get free stuff when you add the JFU coupons to your account.  Add the two French bread coupons – one for a 99¢ price & one for a buck off – and the $4 off a sheet cake plus 25¢ spinach.  I can’t take credit for the bread duo, got that from Rachel.  Only the multi-grain loaf will work for the freebie, because it’s 16 oz, not the 14 oz size of the regular bread (I tried both).  And you have to buy the $2.99 quarter of caramel apple walnut pie … such a punishment 🙂
