Saturday Sampler: Coke Y3000

The Jewel preview ad is up for next week and there’s a Coke Saturday Sampler.  Dunno what this is, but Coke has moved off the beaten track so far it’s not part of the same species!

I like quite a few of the deals in this ad, like the 49¢ avocados, the $2.99 Fisher’s peanuts (the big jug that’s usually $9.99!) and quite a few of the clip coupon deals.  Since they always have low limits, clip ’em all and run it on one trip.  That way you won’t be tempted to over pay on another trip.  Click on the U™ account link and check the preview ads for your own finds.

Jewel 3 Day Flash Sale

Started Friday.  FirstBorn pointed out that Dr. Pepper is the same price it was a few days ago, less the purchase requirement.  And Boy knows his Dr. Pepper and Cheez-it prices 🙂

Saturday Sampler: Gatorade Fast Twitch

The Jewel Saturday Sampler this week is a 12 oz bottle of Gatorade Fast Twitch Energy Drink; shows six available flavors, although your store might not offer all.  Add to your U™ account by Sunday and redeem by Monday.  I can’t believe the name isn’t a deliberate joke, given the nature of the product.

Check under the beverage category – I also had this $1 coupon PLUS there’s a $1 Ibotta rebate.  Means a couple of free Nathan’s hot dogs today!

FA coupons & $1.99/lb frozen shrimp

Everything in this photo came to $10.34:  11 bags of shrimp, two bakery cookies, a focacchia, some granola, two salads & a clump of cilantro.  I used two $15/meat or seafood coupons, two $10 bakery coupons & one $10 produce coupon.  I also had five $2 frozen shrimp coupons.

This is the Lisle location and they must have a ton to reduce it this much – definitely worth a road trip.  If you go, take a photo of the sign, because the registers were ringing up full price.  Obviously the cashier quickly made the correction, but be aware.

Used all 10 floral coupons

Can’t believe I’ve shopped at Jewel 3 times in 4 days!  Picked up 10 mums and all $50 came off with the Flavor Adventure coupons…unfortunately the clearance cart in back had lots of half off gum 🙁 Normally I like 75%, but if the stockpile is getting low and there’s new school semester (because naturally I share), I’ll pay the big bucks.

Jewel (again?!): pet food clearance

Lisle Jewel also had dry dog and cat food (I took one of each) plus a separate cart of kitten food. Check your JFU pet category: I had lots of Fancy Feat coupons and a couple of the deals matched up. Getting free (or a moneymaker) cat food is wonderful. FirstBorn said he didn’t need any more canned food since he’d bought some already … I swear this boy is a changeling.

On the human cart, there were still lots of boxes of pho and ramen broth for $1.87 plus a top shelf of Bob’s Red Mill.  Next to this was a shopping cart full of dry cereal, like shredded wheat & Fruity Pebbles.  Enjoy the savings!

I also earned 1,800 points with  Fetch Rewards!

Flavor Adventure coupons expire soon

Had a nice ride this year on Jewel’s Flavor Adventure game.  Last day to use those clipped digital coupons is August 31st.  Still have $15 in meat/seafood, $10 in bakery, $10 in produce and 10 of the $5 floral department coupons to use, plus all those $1 ones – hope I can score some clearance dish soap 🙂

Saturday Sampler: Pretzel Twists

The Jewel Saturday Sampler this week is a 5 oz bag of Signature SELECT pretzel twists.  This is a single-serve size and only variety is listed.  Add to your U™ account by Sunday and redeem by Monday.  Don’t forget to check for your other monthly freebie (mine was the bread pictured).

Jewel 3 Day Flash Sale

Somehow offering a sale for THREE DAYS seems to take the Flash part out of the equation, but the inmates have been running the corporate asylum for some time now, so what do I know?
