In addition to the TRESemme shampoo/Dove deals I ran the other day, I also picked up two TRESemme shampoos plus one TRESemme hairspray and two Degree deodorants.  Each one of those transactions was $2.09 plus tax – my Jewel has non-aerosol hairspray for $5.49, while other locations might have it for less.  Use the B2G1 TRESemme and $3/2 Degree coupons from today’s rp.

The new Instant Savings promotions – Save $5 when you spend $15 – starts today on the pictured Unilever products plus there is a Buy 2 Get 1 Free promotion already in progress which runs through the 3rd.  Sunday’s inserts will have high-value coupons for most of those same items.

I purchased the items shown without coupons for a $15.68 subtotal.  Returning with the Free Hairspray coupon ($5.49), two $2 Dove body wash coupons ($4) and two $2 Dove Men shampoo coupons ($4) will bring down my OOP to $2.19 plus tax.  Had I picked up TRESemme oil or treatment products, I could have also used two $1 coupons on those and paid 19¢ plus tax.

Stopped at Aldi (!) for regular-sized biscuits in a can, since Jewel only sells jumbo ones now.  sheesh!  Christmas mulled red wine was being dumped for $2.49 a bottle, so DH grabbed a couple (yes, just two ’cause he’s not me!) and we’re trying it out now.  If it’s good, then back up the truck.  Also had panettone on clearance for $2.49, a great price.

Jewel is dumping all their Christmas candy, tea, etc. ’cause next week the Valentine’s Day stuff comes out.  I got the M&Ms for $3 and PITA got Celestial Seasonings tea for $1.  Sadly, the Celestial Seasonings coupon is only $1/2, so 50¢ a box.  boo
