Following the presentation, you’ll have the chance to see and photograph two very rare items from the Disney archives: a hat worn by Julie Andrews in Mary Poppins and a rare statuette known as a “Duckster” award, one of which was proudly displayed in Walt’s office.

Our evening at COD’s The Blues Brothers plus Ghostbusters tickets next week

photo.JPGLast night we attended COD’s outdoor movie showing of The Blues Brothers.  Fantastic!!!    Even better was that our Goldstar vouchers ($2 each) entitled us to front-tier seating and popcorn.   So even though the presentations are free, when you consider that the popcorn is $3, you’ve already saved a buck.  And DH said that for UP, they got there early, but still had to sit much further back and to the side – having reserved seating worked great.  As I said to DH, does this movie hold the record for car crashes?  cause it sure seemed like it!

Which leads me to next week’s showing of Ghostbusters at COD with the same Goldstar deal:  1406662511-Goldstar Ghostbusters

You’ll receive special reserved front seating and popcorn (while supplies last) to see Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd star in 1984’s comedy smash Ghostbusters. The trio play Venkman, Stantz and Spengler, paranormal exterminators battling supernatural forces taking over New York — and inhabiting the body of comely Sigourney Weaver. Bring a picnic and a blanket and enjoy the show.  Get reserved front-tier seating and popcorn for Ghostbusters on August 7th at 8:30 pm for $2 with this Goldstar offer.  Totally worth it.
