Comp tickets to Oleanna (David Mamet)

unnamedFor a play that famously starts arguments — about sexual harassment, political correctness and the irreconcilable differences between men and women — one thing is indisputable about David Mamet’s Oleanna: It’s a drama of the highest order. Its ferocity so astonished Harold Pinter that he wrote, “There can be no tougher or more unflinching play.” Roger Ebert called it “one of the most stimulating experiences I’ve had in a theater.” In this charged two-character drama, a professor and his female student become embroiled in a war of words. Things take a dangerous turn when perceptions differ, and she later accuses him of sexual exploitation. As the serene campus transforms into an explosive battleground, Mamet dares you to choose a side. Now MadKap Productions stages Oleanna from the Pulitzer-winning writer of Glengarry Glen Ross at Skokie Theatre and you can get comp tickets for April 23rd and 24th performance dates on Goldstar – other performance tickets start at $7.  Service fees aren’t included.
