As a Broadway fanatic in Chicago, you already know you’ll get your hands on any ticket that brings that Big Apple magic to the Windy City — and Broadway In Chicago doesn’t miss a beat when it comes to bringing the best shows to the city’s most fabulous venues. Enjoy six Broadway musicals, both classics and newer sensations, when you grab — nay, practically steal — this six-show package. The upcoming season kicks off with the pre-Broadway world premiere of Tootsie, a musical based on the 1982 film starring Dustin Hoffman about a spoiled actor whose troublesome reputation forces him to adopt a very different identity in order to land a job. Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory brings you back to the wonderful world of Willy Wonka with a book by David Greig and music by Marc Shaiman. Thrill to timeless classics like Hello, Dolly! starring none other than the incomparable Betty Buckley and Miss Saigon, and then finish off the season right with the Olivier Award-winning comedy The Play That Goes Wrong and Dear Evan Hansen, which won a Tony Award for Best Musical and the 2018 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. Goldstar has ticket packages starting at only $181 for all six shows!

Odyssey Award-Winning Dining Cruises
This sophisticated getaway cruise was featured on HGTV as one of the Top 10 Reasons to Live in Chicago, which is pretty impressive. Plus, it’s got something for everyone, whether you’re looking for fine dining, entertainment or simply relaxing and watching the beautiful scenery. Peter Pan A Musical Adventure
Just like Peter Pan himself, the story of his many adventures never grows old — and it’s not hard to see why. Chock-full of fun and imagination, with pirates, a gang of runaways, magic pixie dust and the ultimate wish fulfillment of soaring through the sky, J.M. Barrie’s classic tale continues to enchant and be reinvented for new generations. Now, Chicago Shakespeare Theater stages a fresh musical adaptation from the team behind Broadway’s Mary Poppins. With a 75-minute running time, Peter Pan: A Musical Adventure is the perfect introduction to live theater for young audiences, and will continue to inspire adventures all summer long. Stick around after the show to meet the cast and snap some selfies, then make a day of it at Navy Pier! Since this is a kids show, all performance dates are daytime – yeah! Choose a date from the end of June through July 8 on Goldstar and save.
Who’s Bad: Michael Jackson Tribute Band
Short of the King of Pop himself, it doesn’t get any better than Who’s Bad. The world’s longest-running Michael Jackson tribute band stages a multimedia celebration of everything MJ at the House of Blues Chicago. Since 2004, Who’s Bad has assembled a world-class cast of brilliant singers, top musicians and Broadway dancers to perform all of Jackson’s legendary hits from the days of Jackson 5 to Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad and beyond. Uncanny vocals, intricate dance routines, glitzy jackets and glittery gloves help recreate the total Michael Jackson experience. No wonder some of pop music’s biggest acts, including The Four Tops, Boyz II Men and The Backstreet Boys, have scrambled to share the stage with this astonishing incarnation of pop’s one true King. Tickets for the August 30th performance are available on Goldstar for only $10.
Tempel Lipizzans: two performances
The Tempel Lipizzans of Old Mill Creek continue a horse breeding and dressage tradition that began in 1580 during the Austro-Hungrian Empire. Noble, athletic and supremely trained, these horses and talented riders dance in precise, synchronized movements, demonstrating an unparalleled harmony between man and animal. An endangered breed with less than 8,500 horses worldwide, the fascinating story of how the Lipizzans made their way from Austria to Illinois during the Nazi occupation is just a starting point to this incredible show. You’ll see the horses perform pirouettes, piaffe and passage with the grace of ballerinas, like they have for emperors and kings of Europe. Get discount tickets on Goldstar for one of the two June performance dates.
Beatles vs Stones Tribute Bands
Two of the greatest bands of all time face off in a high-energy, adrenaline-pumping musical showdown at Copernicus Center in Chicago. The Fab Four, represented by tribute band Abbey Road, will engage in a barrage of hits against premier Rolling Stones tribute band Satisfaction. You Can’t Take It With You
When a member of the wealthy Kirby family falls in love with a girl from the eccentric, freewheeling Vanderhof household, the two families come together to celebrate the couple’s engagement and discover their shocking differences over a wildly uncomfortable dinner discussion. Written by masters of comedy George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, this fast-paced, witty classic has been entertaining audiences for more than 70 years. Can these two polar opposite families overcome snakes, fireworks, amateur ballet performances and a wealth of interpersonal differences to find common ground? See for yourself when You Can’t Take It With You comes to the Oak Park Festival Theatre in Austin Gardens. This is one of my favorite plays/movies – it’s hysterical! Get comp tickets on Goldstar for performance dates (evenings) for most of June.
