Goldstar freebie: Yacht Rock Revue – a tribute to soft rock

yrr-050713Yacht Rock Revue bills itself as the “Greatest Show on Surf.” It’s a tribute to the soft rock sounds of the ’70s like Hall & Oates, Michael McDonald, Steely Dan and the rest of the Time-Life Infomercial Catalog. They’ve won awards ranging from “Best Place to Get Drunk With Your Dad” to “Best Overall Music Act in Atlanta” and been spotlighted in the New York Times, Pitchfork, the Guardian UK, Spin, TimeOut New York, Billboard, and MTV.com.
