Sunday 9/20 inserts

Dollar Trees have been carrying Triaminic currently and in the past, so a great coupon to use there. Very high value, but only one friggin’ week date on the $4 one! gah And double gah for the same on the Theraflu coupon!

Speaking of Dollar Tree, here’s a display near the front register at the Naperville store.  I think there’s a 50¢ coupon in 8/17 rp.photo.JPG

9/14 inserts – Smart Source & red plum

20140912_082704.jpgIn the Chicagoland area, we have a red plum and a Smart Source the week of 9/14, plus a $10 coupon in the Target ad for up&up products.  So far, the week of 9/28 is looking much better, but as always, stuff just appears at Target!

A few $5 gift card deals on Starbucks coffees (buy 3), cleaning products (buy 5), TRESemme products (buy 3).  Probably more, but meh.  I would NOT stock up on TRESemme unless it’s a killer deal because we are supposed to get a $5/2 TRESemme coupon in the 9/28 inserts.  That week will also have a $5/$15 Target coupon valid on hair care purchase of select item, one of them being TRESemme!

Nudges dog treats coupon & contest

300x250Discover your dog’s Nudges® dog treats variety.  Share a photo of your dog, and download a coupon for Nudges® dog treats!  Plus, you’ll be entered to win a Grand Prize: One year supply of Nudges® Roasted Chicken Recipe dog treats.   Landing page says Made in America and available at Walmart, so probably other places as well.

9/7 Chicago Tribune inserts – 2 rp + 2 SS

20140905_094629.jpegWe got the $5 Tena coupons in our Smart Source – yippee!

20140905_080134.jpgNice $10 off Kohl’s coupon, Target sure seems to be ignoring their cut back on promotions media comments!  Have to start working on deal scenarios now! But first a few trips for some Gardein clearance items…

Sunday 8/31 insert

20140829_093708.jpegThis Sunday we have the P&G September insert, together with some extra coupons courtesy of a CVS flyer (mfr coupons with CVS logo).  Target has only two store coupons:  25% off Boots & Barkley pet purchase of $30 or more (boo!) and a $5 off Just One You made by Carters purchase of $20 or more (a double boo!!).

Target has been making statements about ratcheting down the high value store coupons and in-store promotions, but I don’t think this week is necessarily a sign of the times.  More likely people are out enjoying the last weekend of summer and not shopping so why bother with promotions!

8/24/14 inserts – SS & rp

20140822_091632.jpgHere’s some shots of the Chicago Trib inserts for this Sunday, August 24th – Target  continues to be hot … trying to make up for that disappointing last quarter!

20140822_092419.jpgShould be able to make something of this pet coupon!

20140822_091649.jpgUnfortunately, the last coupons for these ($1) expired back in June. Nothing showing currently, but printables can always appear. Those Outshine bars rock!

August 17th Inserts

20140815_072259.jpg Here’s a shot of Sunday’s inserts (Chicago Tribune) plus the Target ad – one red plum, one Smart Source and one Crest/Scope single pager.  Nothing super jumps out, but Target continues to blow away the competition, deal-wise.  This week they have a $5/$20 on underwear, socks or bra purchases – just their house brands, but odd things pop up all the time, right?

Sunday’s inserts – 6/22

20140620_075825.jpg

Here’s a shot of the two inserts we’re getting in the Chicago area (Tribune) – one very nice high-value coupon is for insync. I’ve only seen the $2 coupons in the past, so let’s hope a drugstore deal turns up before the end of September…I could use the $$$!

cheap Justin (Timberlake) & Ben (Affleck)

photo.JPGDVDs, that is!  Amazon is selling Runner Runner, the latest Justin Timberlake movie, for $2.99(!) – Blu-ray is over $25, so we’re not even going there.  Print out the Amazon detail page and/or pull up the item on your phone using the Amazon APP (yes, it is rather belt and suspenders, isn’t it?).  And, in case you don’t want to spend the $2.99 (I don’t blame you), here’s a $5 coupon to get it for FREE!  Note that Target coupon policy states that they will reduce the coupon value if it’s more than the item – the Target I was at didn’t know this so we agreed to use one coupon for two DVDs – and I ended up spending $1.31 for both, including high tax.  I’m rich, I tells  yah!
