Rachel got a little dealio from the Sears marketing people: $600 gc to spend on holiday presents for a fictional family of four and a Flipcam to record those purchases. Purchases may be made online or in store. Don’t know why such a nice person encourages my visits – oh, right, she needed someone to hold the camera…
Anyway, here are a few pix of our shopping (mis)adventures in Oak Brook. Obviously my pictures of this shopping trip are somewhat different than her’s (hehehehehe).
Interesting price difference here between $30 sale and $30 regular price.
This is a size 16 lift-your-butt pair of jeans – aren’t they called flying buttresses by that point?
Sears now has “insane prices” shown all over the store. Shades of Max Madsen!Sears has a ton of clearance uniform clothes, which might make a great idea for later this year and next. Many public school require uniform-type clothes, navy or beige pants and skirts, white shirts/blouses and 50% with a large selection from which to choose is something to consider.
My favorite display of all: Those meat and cheese prepacked holiday gifts. These suckers go down 90% within days of Christmas, and I have no problem with taking more cheese home. and i always like sausage…
