Apparently that Best Buy email was sent with “incomplete details.” They’ve eliminated the week, making it today only (how is that incomplete?), your purchase of a single item must be $100 or more (no more buying lots of stuff totaling over $100), they’ve eliminated gift cards…
The coupon is not worth anything at this point. I use Best Buy exclusively for Apple products because those are over-priced everywhere and Best Buy gives me no-interest loans with minimum payments stretched out over 24 months – otherwise, Fry’s is always waaaaay cheaper! It’s not their first rodeo and they don’t really care about any confusion or inconvenience…
This Best Buy $50/$100 purchase coupon just appeared on The cents’able shoppin. It’s an email, possibly intended only for certain recipients and not certain how valid it is for the general public. Definitely a ymmv situation.

I did it earlier today with 4 things to make it to $100- it was no problem. I am sure it is a ymmv kind of a thing, a friend is going to try it this week, fingers crossed for him!
No, corporate sent out an “amended” coupon, excluding more things and changing the coupon date to ONE DAY ONLY – yesterday! It was all over their FB page – along with a ton of negative comments. I guarantee you that there will be at least ONE person per store who’s seen or heard of the changes, so if it’s any distance to get to the store, be prepared.
