Join Aladdin, Princess Jasmine, a wild and crazy genie, the evil Jafar and all your favorites from the beloved 1992 Disney tale as Youth Company Chicago presents Disney’s Aladdin Jr. Based on the award-winning animated film, the play is set in Agrabah, the City of Enchantment. A street urchin, Aladdin, has his dearest wishes fulfilled by a genie from a magical lamp as he tries to win the heart of Princess Jasmine and her father. The production features all sorts of enchantment, mayhem and flying carpet rides. You’ll also hear the film’s Oscar-winning songs by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, including “A Whole New World” and “Friend Like Me.”
