Whole Foods – – and lovin’ it!

Edit:  I forgot to include the link to the prior post with the coupon links.  Sorry!

I wanted to pick up more of the Saffron Road broth, so headed on over to Whole Foods where I found – to my great surprise and delight – that the boxes were no longer $3.99, but on sale for 2/$4!  Zowie!  Was originally going for a case of 12, so I only had 15 mfr coupons with me, but 24 of the store coupons.  You see here 24 boxes of broth, an 8 oz bar of Kerrygold butter, 5 lbs of 365 flour (I’m now into baking bread – next post coming up) and four of the Suja juice blends.  There was a person offering samples of these, so PITA and I were able to try them all!  Very tasty and hard to just pick four…but those were the coupons I had.  The demonstrator had a stack of $1 coupons.  Total OOP was $10.33, but would have been much less had I had more of the Saffron Road coupons.  I’m still happy!

Coupon has been pulled.  Print a $1.50 coupon off any bottle of Suja Elements smoothies.  The basic line is $4.99 for a 12 oz bottle.  These were in end coolers near the front of the store..

    • I forgot to include a link to the original post – sorry! I’ve edited the post to include the link. You don’t want the section that says “coupons” but the entire Whole Deal magazine. The $1 Whole Foods Saffron Road coupon is in there, so just clip and print – it’s also in the print edition on the racks as you go in the store. Even with just the manufacturer $2 coupon, you’ll still be paying zero. a nice round number for a couponer.

    • Yeah, ’cause I think I’m gonna need more of the vegetable broth myself. I just used the vegetable broth for rice tonight and the smell was unbelievable – good, that is! Super, super rich smelling. And the sodium content is so low (well on all the line) I moved all the canned stuff to the food pantry. I’ll check it out tomorrow and post.

  1. Any chance of sharing the October Whole Deal? After I commented before, and it the Nov/Dec issue, I just used the MQ, but having both would be appreciated. Got to buy some GF pie crusts tomorrow for my holiday baking!
