Ultra 11/8-14

Looking over the Ultra (Lombard) online ad, it’s nowhere near as good a week as the one ending today.  Last call for Gevalia coffee, Palermo pizza and Post Raisin Bran.  Not in stock?  Get rain checks.  On any deals, always check the Find a Coupon tab to see what insert and IPs might be available.  It’s the fastest way to check.

The Ultra four-day promotion includes whole pineapple for $1.48 – it doesn’t list a brand, but if it’s Del Monte, use this 50¢ FB IP.  Jack’s pizzas are $1.88 – use the $1/3 from 10/28 rp.  Limit of four on the Jacks; after that they’re 3/$10.

Ultra is having a Buy 5 Get $5 mix and match instant savings promotion which includes a couple of decent deals (all prices are after the savings):  18-ct eggs are 98¢;  Smuckers jelly (select varieties) is $1.48 – use 35¢ coupon in 11/4 rp; 32 oz Hungry Jack pancake mixes and 27.6 original syrup are $1.48  – use the $1/2 from 11/4 rp; Dunkin Donuts coffee 11-12 oz is $4.88 – use $1 in 10/28 rp; Folgers K-cups $4.88 – use $1 in 10/7 rp.  Limit two transactions for price (so split ’em up!).

Sierra Mist 2L are 5/$5 – use the expired $1/3 from the 9/30 Pepsi insert to stock up on the cranberry flavor while it’s available.

Note:  Ultra doesn’t participate in the SavingStar deals, but since most of these promotions seem to move from store to store, I’d still add them to your account since you have nothing to lose.

Skippy, Hellman’s mayo, lots of other Unilever products on the Buy 10 (mix and match) and get a $5 catalina.  Make sure you’ve added these to your savingstar account because they give you a $5 reward when you spend $20.   Click here to register (it’s free) or sign in to your SavingStar account.  Dove or Degree deodorants are $1.48 – use the Dove 75¢ coupon in 9/30 rp.  Degree deodorant has a 75¢ IP on coupons.com.  Dove shampoo & conditioner is $2.98.  Use the BOGO in 9/30 rp. Kibble n bits is $10.88 for the 16 lb bag – use $1 coupon in 10/7 rp.

VO5 shampoo and conditioner is 68¢- use the $1/4 coupon in 10-/14 s.  shame they don’t include treatments and styling aids…

Probably lots more deals, but most aren’t the greatest (speaking as someone who still has a case of the Hungry Jack syrup from the freebie days at Jewel in October 2010 (which was also when we were getting our Wesson oil for 50¢ a bottle).

  1. Oh.my.god. That jewel deal was when I first started couponing. I am down to TWO bottles of syrup.
    Sad.
How does saving star work at ultra since they don’t have a card?

    • Ack! I forgot they weren’t a part of it. I’ll pull it out. And I still have some of the Wesson oil left. Hard to get excited about something for a buck or two when it used to be almost free.
