1SaleADay – sump pumps & $$$ pumps

I would strongly recommend this Superior Pump Thermoplastic Submersible Utility Pump w/ 1/5 HP, 3.6 Amp Motor & Corrosion Resist Construction for $24.99 (list is $99.99) as a secondary pump if you’re worried about flooding – I don’t know that it’s powerful enough to take on a truly epic amount of water. Still, if there’s a flood, you can be absolutely certain of one thing: There will be NO sump pumps in stock for a 50 mile radius.

And with all the money you’ll save, pick up this Gucci bag, one of the many available on the Flash Deals page as the Luxury Collection.

  1. if you are worried about flooding, have a primary sump pump that will move minimum 2000 gallons per hour, better yet, 2700-3000 and you wont need to waste money on this puny little thing. you need a discharge hose handy to hook up to it and a pump that can move UP TO 1500 gallons per hour won’t do you any good when the power is out – you need a battery backup sump pump
if there is a flood – well, i watch the weather and have sumps in stock

    • Yes and no. You are 100% correct that this little pump won’t work as a primary AT ALL. I think it would work well as an addition when the water is coming in faster than most pumps can handle. I’ve had an additional, smaller pump to help move out the water. And you’re right about the power – we bought that great deal on Amazon and will be hooking it up to the router/modem and sump pump – I know my priorities!
