$15 for $30 worth of bragging rights

And yet another Goupon sidebar deal (’cause the main Groupon is $49 for a lower seat to a Sox game.  Yeah, like throwing in a hot dog and chips is gonna make it look better) for a donation/deal.  Spend $15 and an anonymous donor will match it with a $30 one; your voucher will be for $30 worth of eco-friendly, reasonably-priced products.  Bright Endeavors is a program that seeks to boost young (16-25) at-risk mothers into successful futures by offering job training & career placement.  Let’s be real here, folks:  We either pay now for a short time or we pay for the rest of our/their lives.  karma on the cheap…

Deets:  Expires Oct 8, 2011.  100% of purchase goes directly to Bright Endeavors. Limit 1 per person, may buy 3 additional as gifts. Limit 1 per visit. Not valid for Moda Esperanza products. Donations are automatically applied. See G-Team FAQs that apply to this campaign.

  1. sadly, some people never learn..get them into subsidized housing and they blow it w/partying etc…not all, but some…

    • That’s why we must teach them that someone other than Uncle Sam can provide them with paychecks. The fact that a young girl even enters a program like this means she’s trying to boost her self-esteem and break the cycle. wonder if they could set up a housecleaning division… ooh, bad, bad, Goddess…

  2. ha! good one! actually that would be a good suggestion…they can work while going to school to further themselves just like the rest of us had to do.
