Do not go shopping with MUM if you don’t like spending money ’cause you sure will be doing some serious damage to your wallet.  And in all honesty, she did not force me to buy the gelato, the shrimp/crab cocktails, the gigantic container from the olive bar…but it’s easier to blame her than my own shortcomings, right?

You see here a large package of al pastor meat mix for eggs, etc., the shrimp and crab cocktails (two), the large olive bar indiscretion, bananas (sign said product of US – really?),  three garlic baggies since they were only .78 each, fresh green beans (seriously, the cashier did not know what they were…thought they were pea pods), orange and green cauliflower heads, limes, incredibly cheap ginger root, globe red grapes, some “grilling steaks?”  and probably other stuff that I forgot about…total came to $63.12 ouch.  without coupons…double ouch.

On a positive note, though, the samples they handed you were more than you could get at an all you can eat buffet.
