Expanded Target Price-Matching Policy (+ more online retailers)

PriceMatch-Header-V3_1Starting Oct. 1, we’re updating Target’s Price Match Policy by expanding digitally, providing longer timeframes and matching additional competitors—so if you find a lower price, it’s now easier than ever to match it in our stores or at Target.com. Here’s a rundown of what’s new.

You can now price match Target.com products with competitors

Just like the policy in our stores, Target.com purchases are now eligible for price matching with competitors. So no matter how or where you like to shop, you can feel confident that you’re getting the best value.

The list of competitors we match just got a lot longer

We’ve expanded the list of online competitors we match (both in stores and Target.com) and added 24 more. We looked at which competitors are most important to our guests, and where there’s a lot of overlap with Target’s product assortment, and landed on the competitors that are most relevant for our guests. And for the first time, that list includes membership clubs like Costco and Sam’s Club.

Here’s the full list: Amazon.com, Babiesrus.com, BedBathBeyond.com, Bestbuy.com, BN.com, Buybuybaby.com, Costco.com, CVS.com, Diapers.com, DicksSportingGoods.com, Drugstore.com, Gamestop.com, JCPenney.com, Kmart.com, Kohls.com, Macys.com, Newegg.com, Officedepot.com, Petco.com, Petsmart.com, Samsclub.com, Sears.com, SportsAuthority.com, Staples.com, Target.com, Toysrus.com, Ulta.com. Walgreens.com, Walmart.com and Wayfair.com.

You’ve got twice as many days to make a price adjustment on a product at Target

We’ve doubled the timeframe for a price adjustment to 14 days, both in stores and at Target.com. That means, if you see a lower price, you have two full weeks to come back for the adjustment. The timeframe for Target.com used to be seven days, or until the end of the following week’s ad for store purchases.

want free cat food?

unnamed (1)Well, you’re still on the hook for high tax, but even the Goddess can’t work miracles in Illinois!  Use the B5G5 Sheba coupon from 8/23 rp with the 50% off 15 cans of Sheba or Iams Target coupon from 9/27 rp.  Use three of the mfr coupons with two Target coupons.  The cans are 52¢ each and I got credit for two bags (although I don’t know if I actually needed it).  My subtotal was zero.  You tax will vary; mine was 60¢.

update: now with printables! Stock up on Swiffer @ Target this week!

unnamed (3)These products cost me $37.88 plus high tax and netted me four $10 gift card! Use the $2 and $1.50/2 coupons from the October P&G.  Limit is four Like coupons, but not on the gift cards, so you can go clean-crazy!
There are also some high value printables you can use to get even more mileage out of your transaction – hey, gas isn’t cheap, you know!

ONE Swiffer WetJet or Duster Starter Kit (excludes Swiffer Bissell Steamboost and trial/travel size)
Swiffer Sweeper Dry Refill (excludes Swiffer Bissell Steamboost and trial/travel size)

ONE Swiffer Duster Refill (excludes Swiffer Bissell Steamboost and trial/travel size)
ONE Swiffer Sweeper Wet Refill (excludes Swiffer Bissell Steamboost and trial/travel size)

more TRESemme

unnamed (1)If you prefer the larger pump bottles, you could also run this $5.99 deal, pay $13.96 after coupons and get back two $5 gift cards.

Target TRESemme & pet food/treats shopping

unnamedUntitledI used the new $10 gift card when you buy $40 in pet food and supplies.

Such a large selection at Target, you’re sure to find enough to hit the $40 mark! Unlike that earlier deal that required Little Bites, this one has a whole list on the 9/27 coupon!  Need more than insert coupons?  Here’s a $3 Purina Beneful bag 13 lb or larger to add to the insert mix!  There is also a 10% Cartwheel on Beneful, no size restrictions.

Since the Target $5/$15 coupon expires on the 26th, your job, should you choose to undertake it, will be to hit up the dollar stores on Saturday, clip and hustle to as many Targets as you have coupons for. There is also a Buy four products and get a $5 gift card promo that also expires 9/26, so here’s my Barbie math:

$4.99 x 4 = $19.96 – two $5/2 mfr coupons = $9.96 – $5/$15 Target coupon = $4.96. Pay that $4.96 plus tax and get a $5 gift card! Rinse and repeat…literally. These items were actually $4.49, so even better!

Half Price Burt’s Bees Lip Balm @ Target

Burt’s Bees Lip Balm 4 Pack – 0.15oz – is only $5.59 at Target!  This is the same package sold at Walgreens for $10.49. In fact, the flavored balms pack at Target is still $9.99.450

Amazon has done their price match magic already, but if you use a REDcard, you’ll pay only $5.31 with free shipping.

My new love: Target self-scans

unnamed (5)Stopped in to pick up these clearance Sterilite Oval Lidless Hampers (black) which have been clearanced down to mostly $2.38…except the store I was at, where they were $2.84. But it’s better to pay more and find inventory, right?  If you want to check inventory at any Target, use Brickseek and enter DPI 002010166 and your zip code.

unnamed (3)Also picked up four more Allegra and two Swiffer duster kits.  Had a blast using the new self-scan machines – you scan just like Jewel, but when gift card items come up, you grab a blank from the holder and scan it and the amount is automatically added to the card.  Plus you scan in all your own coupons!  Easy-peasy shopping for me!

Possible 1 day only MM on TRESemme

unnamed18The 9/27 rp is supposed to contain (not all regions are guaranteed to get coupons) a $5/2 TRESemme shampoo and conditioner.
