By no means is this the cheapest you’ll see these certificates selling for, but when they’re the cheapest it’s also more likely the hottest restaurants will be sold out.  And if we’re honest here, it’s only a difference of a couple of dollars between the best deal and the worst.

GIgantic banner ’cause I’m hungry…and not for deals, either.  You know the drill by now, I would hope, but for those new to the program:  The vouchers never expire; if a restaurant closes or otherwise leaves the program, your voucher is automatically converted into blank form and put back into your account; customer service is extremely friendly and helpful; you can switch from one restaurant to another; these make great gifts for out-of-town friends and relatives AND they’re great to use when you’re on vacation or planning a road trip…one less thing to have to think about.

Again, this is not the cheapest you’ll find these Restaurant.com Gift Certificates…the closer you get to month-end, the cheaper the deal.  Having said that, you will then find your selection greatly diminished – it’s a judgment call…

It’s a trade-off:  If you wait until later in the month, the price will drop.  If you order now, you’ll get the best selection.  My advice is to check what’s available and if it’s a restaurant you’ve been jonesing for…buy it for the extra two bucks…’cause you’re saving enough on other things to treat yourself.

A head’s up that the $1 for $25 restaurant gift certicates is ending in a couple of days.  They only drop this low once or twice per year.  You can read my drill about this program on other posts.  Suffice to say I’ve used them for years (as have friends of mine) and have never had a problem.
