This charming sequel to Pride and Prejudice, written by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon, finds the bookish and introverted Mary Bennet joining her recently-married sisters, Jane and Elizabeth, for the Christmas holidays at Pemberley — the estate owned by Mr. Darcy. When Mary meets the shy bookworm Arthur de Bourgh, she finds herself quite taken with this kindred spirit. But as a well-to-do single man, Arthur has no shortage of female admirers, and in order to compete for his affections Mary must learn to become the heroine of her own story.
