Plink to clink = $$ in the bank

Get paid to eat and shop at your favorite stores and restaurants. Join Plink and earn Cash & Rewards from Amazon, iTunes, Home Depot, Facebook and more … just for eating and shopping at some of your favorite stores and restaurants.  You’ll earn rewards at more than 35,000 locations nation-wide.  Free to join.  Register a Plink account.  Securely and successfully connect any credit or debit card to your Plink account.

Here’s a review from ZDnet about Plink’s initial launch (in January of this year), which was Facebook-related, so don’t know if that part is still involved:

So, how does it work? First, you have to register your Facebook account with Plink through Facebook Connect. Next, you have to register a credit or debit card of your choice. Finally, you can begin earning Facebook Credits by dining-out or making purchases at participating national restaurants and offline retailers. Today, Plink’s online-to-offline (O2O) loyalty program includes the Dunkin’ Donuts, Quiznos, Red Robin, Taco Bell, and others. Plink members can now earn Facebook Credits at more than 25,000 locations nationwide.

Plink is focusing on national restaurant chains as they represent nearly one-third of the total restaurants in the U.S. and spend significant dollars on marketing and advertising. Plink was designed to be simple and easy to implement: the program requires no POS (Point-of-Sale) integration, no paper coupons to be collected, no staff training, no interruption or slow-down to the normal customer transaction process, no tracking conducted by the restaurant or offline retailer, and no set-up fees, print costs, or other merchandise to purchase. That being said, restaurants and offline retailers have to pay Plink a percentage of the sales generated by Plink members.

Vistaprint – 100 business cards $5 shipped

Should I even think about ordering more cards…..but getting 100 business cards for only $5, including shipping is way too good to pass up .  I love Vistaprint and have used them  – with no problems at all – for years.  I’ve ordered business card, labels, t-shirts…and probably stuff I can’t remember now, all printed beautifully.  I’ve tried other (freebies) places and honestly?  They don’t even come close…

Win an iPad from Coupons.com – update the 2nd

Got this email:  We received your feedback on both what you liked as well as on how to improve the user experience. Based on your input, we made a few changes to the iPad®-a-day Giveaway that we just rolled out:

  • “Get Coupons” button has been changed to “View Coupons”
  • The new “View Coupons” button will not auto print
  • When a user clicks on the “View Coupons” button, the Giveaway ad unit closes and several coupons will be pre-clipped and sorted to the top of the gallery
  • When a user clicks on the close button, users will be brought to the gallery without any pre-clipped coupons

NOTE: Just got an email “that after visitors enter the Coupons.com iPad-a-Day sweepstakes, clicking the “Get Coupons” button (after they submit their email address) causes several coupons to be printed automatically.”  Sorry if any of you got caught by this.

Enter Daily To Win An iPad From Coupons.com.  One new iPad will be given away each day. There will be a total of seven winners. UPS My Choice

UPS periodically opens then closes registration for their My Choice program. This is a great service to be registered for:  I signed up when it first came out and have been very pleased with the faultless way it’s worked ever since.  You get alerts before packages arrive, you can electronically authorize packages for drop-off, re-route to other locations and other options.  While this is a sponsored content post, believe me when I say that with something so painless and practical, I wonder why they didn’t come up with it sooner.

I just got an alert that my Maidenform package had been dropped off for shipment.  With the provided tracking number, I’ll be able to see where the package is every step of the way.  The only time it’s a pain is when you get an alert and you haven’t ordered anything and have no idea what it could be (makes you nuts).
